Our RURO Founders and mission team journeyed to Kenya and Uganda to host our annual Christmas Around the World parties! It had been three years since RURO had been able to travel to East Africa with a team, so it was a blessed, God-breathed trip!

 

While there, our team delivered food, blankets, and mosquito nets to more than 6,000 households (20000 plus people), many of whom live in Muslim communities. We prayed and shared the gospel with countless. Our Christmas parties were the best to date! They were fun, festive, excellent, and organized, with a stellar team! Children received a backpack, clothes, a holiday meal, and a day they won't soon forget! There was dance contest, musical chairs, cotton candy, and bubbles for them to take away! In the words of RURO Co-Founder Shunna Jones-Moreno, "At the end of the trip, our team was exhausted but, more importantly, filled with gratitude for those who gave and made the parties possible! The love of Jesus positively impacted the children and women we served, and that's why we come."
